Byzantium is a new off-plan property development located in the attractive black sea resort of Sozopol.. At the same time Byzantium is a very good investment opportunity in a prosperous part of Bulgaria. There is good variety of restaurants, cafes and night clubs, plus two cinemas and various shops. While Sozopol bustles during July and August, in the off-season it reverts back to a sleepy fishing village and is a favoured haunt of artists and writers. The most interesting and special area is probably the old town with its wooden houses and artistic atmosphere. The small harbour is a good place to watch fishermen unload their catches. There are two beaches in Sozopol, but the best is at Dyuni, an upmarket Austrian-designed resort village complex three miles to the south.
